Wow. I'm number 47 at DNW Top 100. Thanks to everyone who voted for my site, and please, keep voting! :3 Also, I want to thank the good folks at the Arrogancy.net forums who visited and posted at my Paint BBS. Please keep visiting, and make sure to spread the word about it. It's still has some programming kinks, but the major functions work, so it's ok to come and post. I suggest everyone that posts pics use the Shii Oekaki applet. For some reason, the PictureBBS applet will not submit pictures. I'm working on fixing it, 'cause it's a really good paint applet. :)

More art!

Yippy! A big fat update for the Sketch Gallery. It consists of some of my best work done in Spring '02 and Fall '03. Warning for the 'kiddies': I have three pics with nudity. Nothing sexual, so don't worry about getting a nosebleed or telling on me to your parents. :P Sorry they're a bit dark; I was "scanning" them with my digital camera. ^__^;;

Ghettopoly: Spoof Gone Too Far?

I picked up on an article posted at BlackPlanet.com about a board game that spoofs the classic Monopoly game, gangsta rap style. Click here for a "Ghettopoly news article". This has caused a considerable amount of controversy from the African American community. Now I'm African American, and I live in what was called a "bad" part of the city. I can see the humor in the game, considering I have pals that make fun of ignorant racist stereotypes all the time. But it was made by someone who is ignorant about the African American culture, and probably never set foot in 'the hood'. Not only that, but the majority of the players are not truthfully aquainted with the African American culture. I think that's the aspect that hurts most... [more at the forum]
